Phil’s Cheesteaks & Burger Hut

Phil’s Cheesesteaks & Burger Hut downtown!

I used to go to Burger Hut before the change of ownership because they had delicious, fresh and simple ingredients in all their burger options. If you’ve ever been there, you know exactly what I’m talking about.

Enter the new age in Burger Hut’s ownership with Phil, his wife Myriam, and his Cheesesteaks. I had seen they had taken over, and their Philly Cheesesteaks looked delicious in all the pictures I’ve seen. I finally got a chance to go in, and my goodness it did not disappointment!

I really want to give Phil and his wife a big shoutout. I went in, accidentally, right as they were closing. They said they could take my order and get it to go because they had something personal pending. They had a great smile, were so friendly and let me tell you about the sandwiches! AMAZING.

Phil told me they get all their ingredients flown in from Philly because he used to live there so he wanted to bring authentic Philly taste here to the city; Meats, bread and more, which explains why everything tasting so different than sandwiches I’ve tasted in Bakersfield.

Let’s go out and support local. Phi’s Cheesesteaks and Burger Hut is located at 1112 19th St and is open from Monday-Friday 10AM-4PM and Saturday 10AM-3PM. There’s some variations of his sandwiches I have to give a try like the Pizza Cheesesteak, so you better believe I’ll be there soon!

The bread was soft and delicious, the ingredients were mouth watering.

The Fries were flavor-full and crispy. A perfect combination.
