I was finally forced to pay for the monthly subscription based newsletter service on my end. With that finally comes the ability to change the link color! I hope you guys like it. The purple had been an eye sore for over a year LMAO

Local Business Spotlight

At just 19 years old, the owner of Twisted Coffee is turning a dream into reality after building a following through local pop-ups and now opening her first brick-and-mortar shop in downtown Bakersfield. The new shop offers handcrafted coffee, specialty sodas, energy drinks, refreshers, teas, lemonades, and a spooky-themed atmosphere that's unlike anything else in town.

Stop by for the grand opening on Thursday, July 9, from 4PM–9PM at 1917 Eye St. The celebration will feature a ribbon cutting, local vendors, a live DJ, face painting, arts and crafts, and free goodie bags for the first 50 kids who arrive in costume. The first 50 customers who make any purchase will also receive a free slice of Jerry's Pizza while supplies last. It's a great opportunity to support a young local entrepreneur as she takes the next step from pop-up events to her own downtown storefront.
